Lamisil, Lomotil, and Lamictal look alike. • Cytovene and Cytosar might be confused. – Cytovene: 250 mg, 500 mg – Cytosar: Chemotherapy agent, 10 mg foscarnet (Foscavir) • Treatment of CMV infections in immunocompromised patients • IV infusion, not rapid or bolus injection • Patient must be hydrated, and Rx for hydration should be included with order for drug Antiviral Dispensing Issues Warning!
