Neofinetia falcata (pink form)
Native of: Japan and Korea
Habitat: Growing on trees in deciduous forest.
Description: A small sized plant with 10cm leaves and 2cm flowers
with long spurs carried on short spikes in bunches of up to 6 flowers.
The normal form of this species is white, this is seed from the much
sought after pink form.
Cultivation Guidance: At school we grow have tried growing this
species cool (min 100C) and intermediate (min120) but have yet to
master its culture.
Flowering season: Spring and summer
Flask to flowering approx: 3-4yrs.
