In sheep and cattle, levamisole has relatively good activity against abomasal nematodes, small intestinal nematodes, large intestinal nematodesand lungworms. Levamisole is less effective against the immature forms of these parasites, and is generally ineffective in cattle (but not sheep) against arrested larval forms. Fenbendazole Hunter’s solution Indicated for use as an anthelmintic in horses, sheep, goats, swine, cattle. Amprolium may increase the risk of the animal developing polioencephalomalacia.
