The subject
The subject of a sentence can be a noun, a
pronoun, or a noun phrase
For example
Carmen works hard. (noun)
She sleeps a lot. (pronoun)
The young man bought a computer. (noun phrase)

The noun phrase can include an article, an
adjective, a prepositional phrase, and a noun

to the noun.
