What is (𝑻𝑽𝑺+ ) 𝒑𝒍𝒖𝒔?
Techmartsupp Voltage Switch Plus(𝑇𝑉𝑆 + ) is a new electrical product designed to control and
protect single phase Air conditioners (A/C) against electrical faults such as under & overvoltage,
surge, fluctuation and over current which can destroy or disrupt the working condition of your
A/C. It protects any single phase air conditioning unit rated up to 20Amps operation current.
FEATURES
 HIGHLY COMPACT AND ADAPTABLE
TVS+ is specially built and design to replace normal AC switch while adding the
protective function of a voltage relay and also add over current protection to provice a
perfect solution for air conditioner control and protection. It can easily replace the normal
water heater switch commonly used to control air conditioners and fits the normal metal
patress already installed in the wall.
 FULLY PROGRAMMABLE
TVS+ is designed with very high level of flexibility to allow the user preset the relay to
meet the specified operating voltage parameter of the protected load. These include Over
Voltage (S-H) between 230V- 280V, Under Voltage (S-L) between140V- 220V and the
Time One delay (S-T) between 0-900 Sec. These enable TVS+ to offer precise protection
and high user friendliness
 UNDER VOLTAGE , OVER-VOLTAGE AND SURGE PROTECTION
𝑇𝑉𝑆 + is built with microprocessor based digital technology that digitalize the input
voltage signal, analyse the value and take necessary decisions according to the installed
algorithm. This enables the relay monitor the input voltage and intelligently allow only
healthy voltage according to users Under & Over voltage pre-set and promptly dis
connect the relay in case of fault depending on the severity of the fault.
 OVER CURRENT PROTECTION
𝑇𝑉𝑆 + has being built to protect air conditioners against overload and short circuit. 60%
of home or office fire caused by electrical fault is from air conditioner. TVS+ is
controlled by a 20A overload relay that will initiate a trip once the running current is
more than 20A. For this fault, auto reclosing is prohibited as a qualified personnel is
required to clear the fault before switching on the relay.
 TIME DELAY
𝑇𝑉𝑆 + allows the user to preset the time delay before which the protected load will come
up at start and after voltage fault recovery to protect against fluctuation and frequent
starting. It also have intelligent time off delay to considers the severity of the fault to
determine the time off delay to prevent nuisance tripping on mild fault and ensure altra
fast tripping on severe fault.
 DIGITAL MULTIFUCTIOANL DISPLAY
𝑇𝑉𝑆 + has digital display unit where the user see for themselves all that is going on within
the switch. This displays the preset under voltage, over voltage and time delay threshold
when switched on. It also displays the countdown of the time delay and the instantaneous
voltage while the relay is in operation.
The digital display also function when FAULTS occurs, it will blink continuously when
there is an over voltage or under voltage and it will black out when in case of overload.
