Flat Peach Trees (Prunus
persica)
(*Also known as “Donut” peaches.)
Apple Trees (Malus domestica)
Pear Trees (Pyrus)
Paw Paw (Asimina triloba)
Blueberry Bushes (Vaccinium)
An order consists of one BuenOs II and one TangOs flat peach tree. These varieties have been
developed at the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station at Rutgers University and are very
productive and resistant to bacterial spot. BuenOs II is an outstanding yellow-fleshed peach with
reddish skin. TangOs has yellow skin color and yellow-green flesh that is sweeter and juicier. Both
have excellent size and firmness.
An order consists of 1 Gale Gala and 1 Fuji apple tree. The trees are bare root whips which are
approximately 4’ to 5’ tall and ½” to ¾” in diameter. Both varieties are well suited to the back yard
grower. Gale Gala develops a 90-100% full red color with deep red striping. Fuji apples are crisp and
very juicy with a sugary-sweet flavor that resembles that of freshly pressed apple juice.
An order consists of 1 Sunrise and 1 Potomac pear tree. The trees are bare root whips, 4’ to 5’ tall.
Sunrise has shown impressive resistant to fire blight. The fruit is yellow with a slight blush finish.
Potomac is a moderately vigorous and resistant to fire blight. The flavor is pleasingly sub-acid with a
mild aroma similar to Beurre D’Anjou. Plant two trees to ensure cross pollination.
An order consists of 2, 1 year seedlings, 10-12 inches. A deciduous, often narrow conical tree
growing 12-25 feet tall with dark green leaves that can grow up to 12” in length. The Paw Paw fruit
is an oblong shaped fruit, light green in color, weighing 5-16 ounces and 3-6 inches in length. The
inside has a creamy, custard texture varying in color from creamy-white to yellow-orange. The taste
is described as a cross between a mango and a banana. Plant at least 2 trees for fruit production to
ensure cross pollination.
An order consists of one Chanticleer (Early) and one Liberty (Late) blueberry bush obtained from a
local berry farm. Plants are of bearing age and with care, will develop large flavorful berries. Select a
sunny, well-drained site with sandy or loamy soil. You may need to add soil amendments. Sold in
pairs to provide cross-species pollination.
Strawberry Plants (Fragaria)
An order consists of 25 strawberry vine plugs. The flavorful variety is “Seascape” which is a late
season ever-bearing strawberry. A good cropper.
Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga
mensiesii)
An order consists of 5, 4 year seedlings ranging in height from 18-24 inches. Fast growing. Grows to
60 feet and has short, soft blue-green needles. Grows best in moist, well-drained soil. Will not do
well in heavy, wet, clay soil. A popular Christmas Tree. This seed source has been proven to be
highly resistant to Gypsy Moth.
An order consists of 5, 2 year seedlings ranging in height from 18-24 inches. Grows to 20 -30 feet.
White flowers in clusters, mid-June, after White Dogwood is finished blooming. This variety has
proven to be resistant to the blight, which has infected many Dogwoods in the Northeast.
An order consists of 5, 3 year seedlings ranging in height from 12-18 inches. Grows to a height of 20
to 30 feet with a spread of 25 to 35 feet. Flowers are reddish-purple in bud, opening to a rosy-pink
with purplish tinge in early spring. Large, dark green, heart shaped leaves 3-5 inches long/wide.
Chinese Dogwood (Cornus kousa
var chinensis)
Eastern Redbud (Cercis
canadensis)
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea
purpurea)
An order consists of 1 potted plant. A very robust perennial plant that grows to a height of 24-36”
with a spread of 12-18”. The flower petals range in color from purple to lavender. Blooms all summer
and into autumn. Plant in full sun or partial shade. Maintenance free. A butterfly favorite.
Old Fashioned Lilac (Syringa
vulgaris)
An order consists of 1 potted plant ranging in size of 15”-18”. Dense, vigorous growth to 15’ with a
spread of 6’-10’. Masses of very fragrant, light lavender flowers in late spring. Makes a wonderful
flowering screen, space 6’ apart.
An order consists of one large leaf Rhododendron plant. Size, depending on variety, can range from
6”-18” in a one gallon pot. You pick your color choice. Will bloom late May to early June. Leaves are
large, dark green year round. Grown at a local farm.
