Art in the Middle Ages By: Katie/4J January 9, 2008 Art in the Middle Ages There were many types and forms of art produced in the Middle Ages: Celtic art Romanesque art Islamic art Gothic art Lot’s of Celtic art contains symmetry There are two “customs” the Celts used: Iron age and Insular art The original Celtic work came to a stop in the Norman invasion in 1169-1170.
