‐ PRESS RELEASE ‐ FRENCH PHYSICIST RECEIVES 2012 GEP AWARD Sept 27, 2012, Paris: Prof. Dr. Joel Sternheimer, French physicist, received the 2012 Global Energy Parliament Energy Award for his landmark work in inventing Proteodies, or molecular music. The award was given at the conclusion of the 3rd session of the Global Energy Parliament on 27 September, at the Adyar Theater in Paris, France. Dr. Sternheimer was selected for the award because of his unique work in discovering Proteodies, or melodies that can influence protein synthesis rates. During the process of protein synthesis in a living organism, amino acids emit sequences of quantum signals. These signals were identified and “composed” into a specific melody for each protein by Dr. Sternheimer. Through scale waves, the transposition of these melodies (“proteodies”) in the audible range can influence the proteins’ synthesis rate. Proteodies have the ability to regulate, when needed, biologic processes where proteins are implicated. In layman’s terms, Dr. Sternheimer has written music that can be used as medicine for certain ailments. Dr. Sternheimer has a PhD in Theoretical Physics and has been a researcher on Elementary Particles at Universities of Lyon, Paris and Princeton, USA. The Global Energy Parliament (GEP) is an international body drawing from the world’s National Energy Parliaments, operating with the objective to provide scientific research, recommendations and strategies to achieve a self‐sustaining, peaceful existence for human beings and the universe.
