Fetal LV strain patterns in patients with PA/IVS. Co-Investigator with Amee Shah MD, Department of Pediatric
Cardiology, NYP/CUMC Assess the fetal LV strain pattern in fetuses with PA/IVS compared to normal controls, and
assess if abnormalities in fetal LV strain pattern in fetuses with PA/IVS can predict the presence of post-natal RV
dependent coronary circulation and long-term outcomes.
Pediatric Palliative Care and How Principles can be implemented into Pediatric Cardiology Co-author with
Elisha Waldman MD, Department of Pediatric Palliative Care and Pediatric Cardiology- NYP/CUMC Review of
current principles of pediatric palliative care and how those principles can be implemented by the pediatric
cardiologist.
Real-time 3D echo evaluation of AV valves in children. Co-Investigator with Anjali Chelliah MD, Department of
Pediatric Cardiology, NYP/CUMC Assess the feasibility and accuracy of real-time 3D echocardiography in the
assessment and surgical repair of AV valves at our institution.
Use of a Novel Fetal Electrocardiographic Monitor to Measure Fetal Conduction Intervals Co-Investigator with
Ismee Williams MD, MPH, Department of Pediatric Cardiology, NYP/CUMC Designed study on the use of a novel
fetal electrocardiographic monitor to evaluate a new technique of diagnosing and monitoring fetal arrhythmias and the
efficacy of measuring conduction intervals compared with fetal echocardiography.
Relationship between Surgical Repair for Congenital Heart Malformations and Growth Outcomes CoInvestigator with Ismee Williams MD, MPH, Department of Pediatric Cardiology, NYP/CUMC Created and analyzed a
database to study the relationship between congenital heart malformation surgical repair and long term growth
outcomes with data collected from our ICUs from 2005-2013 in order to improve future growth and
neurodevelopmental outcomes.
