The Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease at Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital located in
Brooklyn, New York is seeking candidates for a faculty position. The position includes clinical care
of patients through consults in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as participation in
infection control and antimicrobial stewardship. In addition to clinical service, the candidate
should be willing to participate in the education of medical students and residents. Opportunities
for mentorship of trainees and participation in quality improvement and clinical research are also
encouraged.
Maimonides Infants & Children’s Hospital is the first accredited children's hospital in Brooklyn by
the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions and serves a diverse array
of patients of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. We have an academic affiliation
with Albert Einstein College of Medicine and participate in training medical students during their
pediatric clerkships. Academic appointments may be applied for.
Candidates should have an M.D. or D.O. and be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and board
certified/eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
