Issaquah, Wash. — The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz and the monkeys are swingin’ to the beat in is this
exciting KIDSTAGE Ensemble production of the Disney classic, The Jungle Book! Join Mowgli (Bryan
Hanner), Baloo (Isabelle Marshall), King Louie (Cameron Washington), and the gang as they sing and
dance their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan (Clara Hall).
Specially adapted from the beloved film, this musical includes favorite Disney tunes, like “The Bare
Necessities,” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm,
Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS is sure to awaken the animal in everyone!
Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS features 22 students age eight to 12 performing in this
full-scale musical with professionally-designed costumes, sets, lights, and sound. Actors are
selected through a competitive audition process, while the show is directed, choreographed, and
musically directed by skilled theatre professionals.

Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS is directed and choreographed by local performer, choreographer
and KIDSTAGE graduate, Casey Craig (Bye Bye Birdie, Hello, Dolly!, CATS), with musical direction by
another KIDSTAGE graduate Orlando Morales (Bye Bye Birdie, EVITA, plus KIDSTAGE’s Honk Jr.!,
Last Exit, and trust me.) and John Hintze, who is a University of Washington student and new to the
KIDSTAGE program.

About Village Theatre KIDSTAGE:
Designed to encourage teamwork, personal integrity, self-esteem and a life-long appreciation for live theatre,
KIDSTAGE is a year-round performing arts training program in Issaquah, Everett and Stanwood for young people ages 3-20.
KIDSTAGE students participate in classes, workshops and full-scale KIDSTAGE productions. All performances are by
KIDSTAGE students and classes are taught by professional theatrical instructors.
