One of the answer to these requests are the HEVs and EVs. The key component of the hybrid vehicle technology is the inverter an electric power converter. The development of a standard hardware bench to test this electronic component encouraged also the creation of a standard software framework that can work on different electronic components. Elektra PLUS is the system that can combine these two aspects. ELEKTRA PLUS END OF LINE FUNCTIONAL TEST SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOTIVE INVERTER The Elektra PLUS is an high flexibility End Of Line test system for testing the automotive inverter. In fact it allows to: Due to high voltages and current level, safety precaution and maintainability aspects are strictly taken into account. The electrical cabinets and its components are certified to work with performance level PLe in accordance with EN ISO 13849. To assure maintainability, the instrument cabinet separately contains all of the components responsible for bench automation and low power test. Meanwhile the high power cabinet include all of the equipment necessary to perform the high power tests. 1.
