prevention, diagnosis, and management will improve our clinical practice and yield improved
patient outcomes.
That is why it is our pleasure to invite you to the combined Brigham and Women’s Hospital/
Mayo Clinic course: Cardiovascular Medicine 2016: Updates for Practitioners, where
internationally recognized leaders in the field will update you on the latest research,
medications, and procedures across key areas of cardiovascular medicine. Highlights include:
• FDA approval of Vorapaxar and the future of single and dual antiplatelet therapy
• The groundbreaking SPRINT trial on optimal blood pressure goals
• Deciding when PCSK9 inhibitors are medically justified
