Anterolateral thigh flap is a fasciocutaneous perforator flap based on the descending branch of the lateral femoral circumflex artery. A line is drawn from
the anterior superior iliac spine to the lateral border of the patella. The main perforating vessels emerge at mid distance on this line, between the rectus
femoris and vastus lateralis.
