 070125803 Information Modeling and Database System
 I-MIT
 Tuesday 13.00-16.00 at 3A13
 Data storage structure, data level, information modeling,
concepts of database systems, database system
architecture, database design and case studies,
middleware, relational algebra and concept of Structured
Query Language (SQL), query processing, transaction
management, database integrity and security, database
management should demonstrate their abilities to apply
the knowledge to effectively solve database related
problems. Students will also research published works in
data modeling and database technology.
Students should:
 Understand the main concepts of database technologies
 Be able to design database and understand the
application of normalization
 Be aware of state-of-the-art database technologies
 Be able to apply knowledge to effectively solve database
related problems.
