The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) is an Executive Agency of the Department of Environment,
Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). It is a single paying agency responsible for CAP schemes in
England and for administering certain schemes throughout the UK.
Marketing Communications Consultant (5-month contract role)
Led internal Marketing & Communications team – 5, Improved employee communications and
enhanced Brand and Values awareness, undertook employee feedback and analysis managed
Communications Champion network and Change Programme communications, created and
implemented internal and external communications policies. Launched agency-wide briefing
processes, improved external websites, and streamlined intranet after full review of internal
electronic communications. Improved and Championed agency wide Stakeholder programmes.
TFL, Oyster, London  January 2006- April 2006
TfL is a functional body of the Greater London Authority (GLA), which implements the Mayor of
London's Transport Strategy and manages transport services across the Capital.
Marketing Communications Consultant – London (3 month contract role)
Rolled out “Everyone’s London” campaign to promote tourism after 7/7 bombings, directed high
volumes of above and below the line marketing campaigns to promote utilisation of Oyster card,
and drove campaign to promote awareness of Oyster card in outer London regions. Lead role on
Quantitative and Qualitative research within the Oyster brand. Devised teen program with
16/17Oyster photo card, and launched television and radio campaigns to dispel ‘Oyster myths’.
Worked closely with Visit London and Visit Britain to encourage usage of Oyster by tourists to
London. Ensured all activity met with strict Government objectives and mandates.
GEORGICA PLC- RILEY’S LTD, Milton Keynes  September 1999- January 2006
Georgica was the parent company of Riley’s Ltd., Europe’s largest operator of private
membership entertainment establishments with 163 American Pool and Snooker clubs.
Marketing Data Base Manager
Devised and implemented strategic marketing plans to maximise potential and visualisation whilst
maintaining budgetary and time restrictions for national regional (12) and individual site
(163) activities. Managed and developed all Media and Public Relations Handling. Reviewed and
analysed sales targets and direct response, launched and maintained 3 websites as well as
company intranet, and served as data protection officer. Led communications project on systems
change and implementation. Optimised SEO and Natural Search. Generated sales and leads via

High Wycombe Rugby Union Football Club, June 2009 - Present
Press & Media Relations Chairperson
HWRUFC, formed in November 1891 is registered both as an Industrial and Provident Society
and a Community Amateur Sports Club. They attained Seal of Approval accreditation in
September 2006. The club runs four senior teams on Saturday and caters for 300 children ranging
in age from five through to seventeen in the Mini, Junior and Colts XV.
Micklefield Matters, Marketing & PR Advisor December 2007 – March 2008
Micklefield Community Library had its funding from the County Council and was subsequently
closed. A group of local people came together & reopened the library, which was wholly funded by
the people of Micklefield through a registered charity Micklefield Matters Ltd.
