DISEASE WANTED POSTER PROJECT
For this project, you will spend 2 days in class researching your specific disease to
find the answers to the following questions. After your research is complete, you
must create a “Wanted Poster” for your disease. You can use any type of paper
you choose (poster board or a piece of white typing paper). You can either
hand write it or create it on the computer.
The wanted poster must contain the following information:
1. The Mugshot and title - Include a picture of the bacteria – The title includes
the Scientific name of the bacteria - write the scientific name correctly!
2. The Crime – The injury/disease your bacteria causes (include 3 symptoms of
the disease)
3. The bacteria’s M.O. – how does your bacteria attack its victim (list the body
parts/systems in the body the bacteria attacks)
4. The victims – What organism does your bacteria usually prey upon (young
adults, humans of any age, dogs/cats, etc.)
5. The hideout – Where is the bacteria usually found (Can be found lurking in the
throat...)
6. Fighting back – How can the bacteria be stopped – include preventions and
treatments for the disease
7. A Works Cited – List 2 sources used to research your bacteria/disease – Use
Noodletools to input your citations and print this out – attach it to your poster.
The disease I want to research is: ______________________________
