Single phase induction motors are now popular for its low cast and ease of
maintenance. So often it is required to control the speed of the motor in the process. This is
the circuit which controls the speed of the induction motor. The circuit control the total power
delivered to the load by using triac. This circuit also gives a dc switch to operate ac motor. It is
safe to operate dc switch rather than a ac switch. The speed can be controlled by adjusting the
pot provided in the circuit. The triac driver is used to drive the triac. The triac current
specifications must match with the load specifications.

This is a special circuit for controlling the servo motors of quad pad, using this circuit we
can control 3 servos.

DC motors are common in robotics and automation products. It is very essential to
control the speed of the motor according to the requirements. Precise speed control is
required in industrial process, failure in one circuit may cause the total plant shutdown in
certain situations. The dc motor speed and direction can be effectively controlled by using
chopper/H-bridge circuit.

The increasing demand to electric power and decreasing fossil fuel reserves lead to
development of non conventional energy production systems. In non conventional energy
solar energy is very important one. The main problem with this one is irregularity. At certain
times the power available is high and certain times very low. If we directly charge the battery
with the solar panel, the battery efficiency will be reduced. The PWM charging algorithm will
protect battery from overheating and limits the charge current according to the need of
battery.

Transformer winding is critical process in which number of turns must be correct in order have
specific step up/step down voltages. This circuit can do the transformer winding
automatically. The user must enter the number required turns using the keyboard provided
on board. The circuit uses moc7811 IR sensor to count the turns. For each turn the beam chaps
for one time, the microcontroller will detect the break in beam by continuously polling the
sensor output.

Using this circuit we can control rpm of dc motor using optical sensors. PWM technology is
used to control the RPM.

temperature as reference parameter. The speed will vary in proportional to the temperature.
