understanding of human anatomy and astronomy.

2. Class work: chapter 11.1: origins of the Renaissance: book work, biographies, etc.
3. Homework: Cornell notes: pgs. 298-300 trade with Asia.
Tuesday, 1/7/14: Standards: 7.8.1, 7.8.5
Language Objective: Use LoD to describe humanism and the achievements of Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.
Content Objective: We will learn that Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci were masters of the Renaissance.
1. Bell work: review of the Silk Road
2. Class work: Chapter 11, section 2: The Italian Renaissance (LoD, readings, book work, AVID activities)
3. Homework: Cornell notes, chapter 11 section 2, pgs. 304-306
