Special Supplementary Grant Report Template 2016
Purpose of the Special Supplementary Grant (SSG)
The purpose of the SSG for Special Education Fund is to provide additional tutorial support, over and above
existing staff members, to work with resource-intensive learners with special needs, in institutes of technology
and polytechnics (ITPs). The objective is to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to take part in the
social and economic life in New Zealand.
Completing the Report Template
Please enter the details of the tutorial support provided for each programme/activity run in 2016. Please provide
information on outcomes of these activities for your learners including progressing on to further education or
starting employment or voluntary work. Finally, enter the amount of funding that has been spent on each
programme and any relevant comments.
Submission
One report is required at the end of each calendar year. Your completed report for 2016 should be uploaded to
your Workspace 2 provider site by 15 February 2017. Before uploading, save the report with the following
naming convention: <provider code>-Special Supplementary Grant Report–2016–confirmed
e.g. 9199-Special Supplementary Grant Report–2016–confirmed
By adding ‘confirmed’ to the end of the report’s name you are indicating that this is your final copy of the report.
If you want to upload a draft report to Workspace 2, do not add ‘confirmed’ to the end of the report’s name.
