COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will include a mixture of seminar based presentation of theory and evidence
with time for discussion.
First a summary of evidence based practice will be described.
This will be followed by case descriptions. There will be small group work to discuss the
formulation and produce plans of treatment.
Next the theoretical basis of the abnormal eating behaviours will be described. Practical
demonstrations and case descriptions of how to support eating will be followed.
Finally there will be a discuss of how to assess and manage risk.
