Monday, 10-19-15:
Objectives/Intended Outcomes/Essential Question: SWBAT: understand the physical fitness
value derived from participation, understand and apply safety practices, demonstrate a positive
attitude and effort in class. Question: Why is cardiovascular/cardiorespiratory exercise important
for good health and physical fitness?
Today’s Lesson: Track to walk/jog, poor weather indoors with Flicker ball game

Tuesday, 10-20-15:
Objectives/Intended Outcomes/Essential Question: SWBAT: understand and apply safety
practices related to the weight room, acquire basic knowledge of the skeletal muscles involved
with each new lift taught, exhibit proper exercise technique, demonstrate a positive attitude and
effort in class.
Today’s Lesson: Beginner students are being taught weightlifting exercises all nine weeks, prior
students of the class are lifting on their own following the exercise chart in their folders.

through pregnancy and birth, explain how a pregnant female transfers nutrients and other
substances to her fetus, understand the stages of embryonic and fetal growth and development,
explain how twins are formed and explain the stages of birth. Questions: What is fertilization?
What is implantation? What occurs during embryonic growth? How are substances transferred
from the mother to the fetus? What is the difference between how identical and fraternal twins
are formed? What are the stages of fetal development? What are the stages of birth?
Today’s Lesson: Collect 19-1 Packet, begin 19-1 PP: The Beginning of the Life Cycle
