Being Brilliant – Role Profile Job Title: Department/Location: Reports to: Resourcing Partner - Retail HR Department/ Market Harborough/ Field HR Business Partner - Retail Summary of main purpose of the role Provide a proactive and effective recruitment service to the Retail and Shows channels. Management of the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that managers have the tools to recruit the best of talent to support future business growth – with a strong focus on quality and ‘stickability’ of candidates rather than quantity, with an eye to all the latest direct recruitment options. Role Dimensions and Accountabilities Direct reports: Financial revenue: None None Key relationships: HR Business Partner Retail, Area Managers, Head of HR, Resourcing Partner Head Office, Head of Shows, Senior Shows Manager, Store Management teams, Retail Director, HRBP – Head Office, HR Ops Team Key Responsibilities Recruitment lifecycle management Co-ordinate the recruitment lifecycle within Joules including briefing with managers, writing and posting adverts, headhunting and managing the selection process through to offer stage. Oversee the application process for all candidates via Joules’ on-line portal and ensuring correct administrative procedures are followed and regularly updated; Responsible for updating internal and external careers pages, website profiles and other external media, such as job boards Support the effective selection of candidates; attending interviews as required and providing an "added-value" assessment of applications Provide timely and effective feedback to candidates either directly or through agencies Manage the offer process through to acceptance, ensuring all administrative processes are completed, managing timely communications between the HR Operations team and the candidate To maintain the data integrity of our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring all candidate data is handled appropriately. Keep all hiring managers and candidates updated and engaged at each stage of the recruitment process To ensure the applicant tracker is kept updated and provide regular updates on actual and expected resourcing related costs. Adding value to the recruitment process Utilise multiple direct source recruitment methods including social media, job boards, networking, advertising and headhunting to ensure that a pipeline of suitable candidates is maintained Dealing with recruitment agencies, including fee negotiation and effective communication To keep abreast of innovative and emerging recruitment methods and identifying improvements to the recruitment process. Work with HRBP to develop and effectively implement solutions. Provide data on recruitment activity data on a regular basis Work with the HRBP to ensure robust processes in place for new store opening recruitment Support HRBP to develop and maintain appropriate selection tools, including template interviews and candidate tests/activities; gaining feedback from users and amending as appropriate. Being Brilliant - Person Specification Key skills required: Skilled in-house Recruitment Advisor, with experience of direct resourcing using multiple sources. Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and credibility with both internal customers and candidates The ability to work well under pressure; calmly, proactively and collaboratively as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable, able to take ownership of own work and juggle tasks, with constantly shifting priorities Passionate about what you do and able to professionally represent and promote Joules to candidates. Happy to, and wants to challenge the status quo.
