SUMMARY FUNCTION:
Supervise and coordinate the operation of the Credit Union inhouse data processing system and all related systems. The IS Manager will serve as the Chief
Information Security Officer (CISO) and as such is responsible for overseeing and reporting on
the management and mitigation of information security risks. The CISO is also responsible for
implementing and maintaining an information security program. Travels locally and in/out of state
as required. Requires flexible work hours with after hours and weekend on-call as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: 6-8 years of specific related experience needed;
college education or equivalent experience required. Should have necessary certifications to
perform the duties of the job with possible topics to include; IT server management, cyber
security, project management, etc.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day activities of the Information Services Department and its
personnel. Direct the department’s personnel administration activities including
job assignment, training, performance evaluations, and compensation review.

Maintain and keep current a Cyber Security program, with input from the Vice
President of Support, that will preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and
availability of CU data and information.

Plan and coordinate the future direction of the in-house Information Services
Department with input of the Vice President of Support. Develop plans for
implementation of new projects. Provide well-defined plans including
procedures, deadlines, and accountability. Make purchasing recommendations
based on bid pricing provided. Monitor to ensure that accurate records are
maintained.

Assist the Vice President of Support in developing an annual budget. Review
and compare actual results to planned budgetary performance, preparing reports
reflecting those results.

Respond to exams/audits, with the input of the CEO (or their designee) and Vice
President of Support, to keep the Credit Union in compliance with regulations
and in observance of best practices.

Maintain, test with documentation of results a Disaster Recovery Plan for the
network. Upgrade the Plan as needed.

Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations that might effect the
department and act as required.

Actively work to insure Credit Union compliance with OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act/
Anti-Money Laundering and U.S.A. Patriot Act by following all Credit Union
Policies and procedures and attending regular training as required.
