Biographical Data Richard Batelaan Senior Vice President, Customer Solution Implementation Joined CenturyLink 2016 Positions Held • Senior Vice President, Customer Solution Implementation – 2016 Education • BS/Electrical Engineering – Georgia Institute of Technology/Atlanta, Georgia • MS/Information Networking – Carnegie Mellon University/Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Richard Batelaan has nearly 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. As CenturyLink’s Senior Vice President of Customer Solution Implementation, he is responsible for end-to-end customer service delivery for business and consumers, from the sale to revenue capture. He has extensive industry knowledge and a track record of implementing repeatable, automated business processes to drive revenue growth, network performance and customer satisfaction. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Batelaan spent five years with AT&T in Dallas in leadership roles within Network Planning and Engineering, Platform Strategy and Solutions/Product Realization, and Product Management. He also previously served as Chief Operations Officer for Cbeyond, Inc., BroadRiver Communications and BellSouth.net.
