JOHN TARTAGLIA (Director/Producer) is best known to families as Johnny from the eight time Emmy
Nominated television series “Johnny and the Sprites” (Disney Junior, currently airing internationally)
for which he was nominated as Outstanding Performer in a Preschool Series. John made his Broadway
Debut in Avenue Q, originating the roles of Princeton and Rod (TONY nomination for Best Actor in a Musical). Other Broadway roles include originating Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical and Lumiere in Disney’s
Beauty and the Beast. John has been a Sesame Street Muppeteer for over 18 years, beginning at the
age of 16. He can currently be heard every Sunday afternoon on Sirius XM Radio On Broadway’s Sunday
Funday with John Tartaglia. Next, John will be directing the upcoming premiere productions of Jim
Henson’s Sid the Science Kid: Live on Tour and Because of Winn Dixie, a Broadway bound musical by
Duncan Sheik and Nell Benjamin, based on the classic children’s novel. Other directing credits include
Shrek the Musical at the MUNY and resident directing Avenue Q Off Broadway at New World Stages. As
a writer, John created ImaginOcean, which is currently being developed for television with The Jim Henson Company following two successful seasons Off Broadway and two seasons on National Tour. John
is thankful to be a part of the incredible magic that Jim Henson and The Jim Henson Company have
brought and continue to bring to the world. To Mom, for letting me cut up your dresses to make puppets.
Where the Wild Things Are, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and Five
Children and It. The shop is also known for its live performance work with artists like Cee Lo Green,
Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Deadmau5. A recipient of more than 9 Emmy Awards for its outstanding
work building puppets for Sesame Street, the Shop also received an Academy Award for its visual effects work on the film Babe. Other awards include a Scientific and Engineering Academy Award for
the Henson Performance Control System, a powerful custom-based interface for puppeteers, and an
Emmy Award for its work in developing the Henson Digital Performance Studio, a patented control
system technology that enables puppeteers to perform a computer generated (CG) character in real
time.
DANIEL SETH (Assistant Director) happily returns to collaborating with John Tartaglia after Associate
Directing Jim Henson’s Musical World at Carnegie Hall. Most recently, Daniel served as Creative Aide
to Forest Whitaker on multiple films including Lee Daniels’ The Butler. Other projects have included
Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas, ImaginOcean, Avenue Q, The Book of Mormon, Sleep
No More, Recursion, Dog Sees God, and multiple projects in development. Daniel recently co-founded
BCS Pictures, a production company dedicated to creating socially conscious programming. Outside
of production, he proudly works in arts education, “paying it forward” to the next generation. NYU Alum;

KEN GOLDSTEIN (Scenic Design) is the Assistant Professor of Set Design at SUNY at New Paltz, and
Resident Set Designer at Northern Stage. He has also designed at numerous regional theatres including: Baystreet Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Gulfshore Playhouse, Barrington Stage Company,
The Skylight Music Theatre, The Hangar Theatre, CPS in Potsdam NY, and Orlando Rep. Ken holds an
MFA in Set Design from Brandeis University, and is a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829. Ken is
thrilled to be working with this great creative team on this exciting show!
ANNMARIE DUGGAN (Lighting Design) is excited to be a part of the Dinosaur Train team. OffBroadway: Sphinx Winx (Theatre Row) Jolson & Co. (Century Center) Syria America (Greenwich Street

DAN CARR (Video Projection Designer) is thrilled to be working on such a fun project with such a
dynamic group of people. When not working on shows, Dan is the Assistant Lighting Supervisor for the
Office of the Arts at Emerson College.
JIM HENSON’S CREATURE SHOP™ (Puppet Design & Fabrication) provides performed digital visual
effects, animatronic creatures, animation and soft puppets to the international film, television and advertising industries. Based in Los Angeles and New York with satellite shop capabilities internationally,
the Shop is known for designing and building some of the world’s best-known characters including the
Sesame Street puppets, the classic Muppets, the dinosaurs from Dinosaurs, the aliens from Farscape
and the fantastical creatures from The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth. Other feature film credits include
LAURA KROUCH (Stage Manager/Lighting Director) A graduate of University of Kansas City-Missouri, Laura has an M.F.A. in Stage Management and has worked for Kansas City Repertory Theatre,
Cortland Repertory Theatre, Lost Nation Theatre in Vermont, a tour of Unsinkable Women: Songs
and Stories from the Titanic with Deborah Jean Templin and a national tour of The Adventures of
Huckleberry Finn for The Classical Theatre Project from Toronto, Canada. She would like to thank

MICHAEL SHAWN LEWIS (Producer) is co-owner of Gables Grove Productions, through which he
creates and produces multi-media international family entertainment. In addition to developing
original shows, Gables Grove currently works to develop entertainment for Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, The Jim Henson Company, Sesame Place, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Royal Caribbean
Cruise Lines. He received a Drama Desk Award nomination for his work as Producer on the OffBroadway production of ImaginOcean and is currently working as Executive Producer to adapt that
magical underwater world into a television series with the Jim Henson Company. Current touring
productions include: Dinosaur Train LIVE!, Sid the Science Kid LIVE! and ImaginOcean. His performing credits include the Broadway productions of The Phantom of the Opera (Raoul) and The Woman
in White. In Europe he starred in Elisabeth: The Musical, Les Miserables and many productions of
Phantom. Michael works in association with Artists Striving To End Poverty (ASTEP) and The George
Foundation as an educator/instructor with the extremely impoverished. Michael is co-founder and
President of The New York Children’s Theater Festival, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created
to support artists in the development and presentation of new theatrical works for young audiences

ARLEE CHADWICK (Mrs. Pteranodon) has been a puppeteer in the first national tour of The Little
Prince as “The Rose” (Bristol Riverside Theatre). She has pulled strings as a resident company member at Swedish Cottage Morionette Theatre in Central Park. She previously appeared in multiple
international tours of Sesame Street Live! where she helped many muppets with their dance moves
and also “Sew & So” in My Little Pony Live! She has also appeared in the puppet show Tales of
Amazing Tricksters (Bronx Zoo). With a BA in dance, she has danced through productions of Beauty
and the Beast, West Side Story, Footloose, My Fair Lady and CATS (Carousel Dinner Theatre). She is
excited to be on board the Dinosaur Train!
DANIELLE DEFASSIO (Janet/Don) is thrilled to be on board the Dinosaur Train! Favorite credits:
The Little Mermaid, Pinkalicious (STONC), Almost, Maine (NY Deaf Theatre), A Gulag Mouse (Babes
with Blades), If You Really Love Polar Bears (Making Books Sing). She also plays in a children’s rock
band at Kidville. She has trained with The Second City, has a theatre degree from Columbia College

CHRIS PALMIERI (King) hails from the magical land of Montague, NJ and currently resides in
Astoria in NYC. His puppetry work has been seen at Field Station: Dinosaurs, the Toy Museum of NY,
Dante’s Inferno (The Brick Theater), Finding Mother (Manhattan Repertory Theater), the Puppetery
Arts Festival of Brooklyn and in the HBO/Columbia University short film First Prize. His acting credits
include: Box Out Bullying, Last One Out, Joey and Maria’s Wedding, Scenes from the Staten Island
Ferry, as well as a season as a resident improviser at Sylvan Beach Amusement Park.
DREW TORKELSON (Buddy) is so excited to be a part of Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train Live! Buddy’s
Big Adventure! Some favorite musical credits include Billy Idol in The Wedding Singer, Cousin
Freddy in The Berenstein Bears Live!, Thalin in Xanadu, Linus in Charlie Brown, Sylvius in As You Like
It and Peter Pan in Disney Dreams. I want to thank John for this amazing opportunity and, as always,
Mom, Dad and Grandma for their love and support.
EMILY TUCKER (Swing) is ecstatic to be puppeteering on her third national/international tour.
Previously, she toured with John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean for two seasons, most recently as Bubbles.
She has performed all over the continental US, as well as Hawaii, Singapore and a month long run
at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia last winter. She hails from Wisconsin and is based

MICHAEL NAYLOR (Creative/Website) has worked in New York City as the Art Director for a New
York based Arts Marketing company, writing and designing educational study guides for Broadway
productions. He has worked with Gables Grove Productions on the off-Broadway hit, John Tartaglia’s
ImaginOcean. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with the historic Bucks County Playhouse in New
Hope, PA as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Today he serves as the media representative for New Jersey’s Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre and the Memorable Affairs Dinner
Theater in Pennsylvania and as the web designer for the New York Children’s Theater Festival. In his
spare time, he is busily shopping around his television comedy about a fictional regional theatre.
EMILIE BRAY SCHOENFELD (Production Manager) serves as the Production Manager for Gables
Grove Productions and Company/Production Manager for John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean. Select

TROY MITCHELL (Tour Manager) Originally from Niagara Falls, NY and graduate of California
Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Production Management. Among his numerous concert & theatrical
international tours including Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues Live!, he has been associated with John
Scher/Metropolitan Entertainment, Universal Studios, Clear Channel Theatrical Entertainment, Alan
Wasser Associates, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Disney on Ice, Cirque du Soleil and most re-
cently, Norwegian Cruise Line. Now from the Orlando, FL area, he enjoys being a part of Jim Henson’s
Dinosaur Train Live! and introducing live theater and all of its possibilities into young lives.
