Cramers rule :
• is an explicit formula for the solution of a system of linear
equations with as many equations as unknowns, valid whenever the
system has a unique solution. It expresses the solution in terms of
the determinants of the (square) coefficient matrix and of matrices
obtained from it by replacing one column by the vector of right hand
sides of the equations.
Ice Hockey problem
• The admission at an ice hockey game is $15 for adults $11 for
children. A total of 650 tickets were sold. Determine how many
chidren’s tickets and how many adults’ tickets were sold in total of
$8790 was colected
• Steps:
1. Find the equations
2. Start using craimers rule
3. Find x
4. Find y
