You are invited to submit your most competitive quotation for the goods enclosed in ANNEXURE.
The bid security should be deposited in the form of bank draft/demand draft only in favour of Director,
IET, Lucknow payable at Lucknow. The bid security for different items can be deposited by a single bank
draft/demand draft. Quotations without the bid security will not be accepted.
Term and conditions:
i.) Technical literature must be attached to support the specifications of the items quoted.
ii) Certificates of manufactures/authorized dealers/agents must be attached with the quotation.
iii) Copy/List of purchase orders supplied to other reputed organization should be attached with the
quotations in support of quoted rates.

Government of India has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) in various
currencies equivalent to US$ 250 million towards the cost of the Technical Education Quality
Improvement Programme Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible
payments under the contract for which this invitation for quotations is issued.
3.
Bid Price
a)
The contract shall be for the full quantity as described in Annexure. Corrections, if any, shall be
made by crossing out, initialing, dating and rewriting.
b)
All duties, taxes and other levies payable by the contractor under the contract shall be included in
the total price.
c)
The rates quoted by the bidder shall be fixed for the duration of the contract and shall not be subject
to adjustment on any account.
d)
Sales tax, if any, must be quoted separately.
e)
The Prices should be quoted in Indian Rupees only.
4.
Validity of Quotation
Quotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 90 days after the deadline date specified for
submission.
5.
Evaluation of Quotations
The Purchaser will evaluate and compare the quotations item/ equipment wise determined to be substantially
responsive i.e. which
(a)
are properly signed ; and
(b)
conform to the terms and conditions, and specifications.
6.
Award of contract
The Purchaser will award the contract to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to be substantially
responsive and who has offered the lowest evaluated quotation price.
6.1
Notwithstanding the above, the Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any quotations and to cancel
the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time prior to the award of contract.
6.2
The bidder whose bid is accepted will be notified for the award of contract by the Purchaser prior to
expiration of the quotation validity period. The terms of the accepted offer shall be incorporated in the
purchase order.
7.
Payment: 80% shall be made after supply/installation and remaining 20% after 30 days of supply/
installation.
8.
One year warranty for equipment and three years warranty for Server, Desktops, Laptops, printers and
scanner shall be applicable to the supplied goods.
9.
You are requested to provide your offer latest by 14.00 hours on December 26, 2007.
10.
We look forward to receiving your quotations and thank you for your interest in this project.
11.
All items quoted in this format will be delivered/ installed at IET, Lucknow only.
12.
Firms have to submit the ‘format of quotation’ in CD also. In case of any dispute, signed hard copy will
prevail.
