Mr. Ammentorp: Integrated Math 2 Digital Agenda
Week of October 5, 2015
Check In/Do Now: M/T: Entrance Ticket: Collaborative Station from last week.
W: Prepare your notebook for Notebook Check 4
Th/F: Solve for missing angles of triangles.
Essential Question (s):
 How can I prove angles formed by parallel lines and transversals are congruent?
 How can I use a triangle congruence criterion to prove that all points on a perpendicular bisector are exactly those equidistant from the segment’s
endpoint?
 How can I prove the interior angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees?
Standard(s) from Instructional Guide:

G-CO—Congruence
G.CO.C Prove geometric theorems
9. Prove theorems about lines and angles. Theorems include: vertical angles are congruent; when a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate interior
angles are congruent and corresponding angles are congruent; points on a perpendicular bisector of a line segment are exactly those equidistant from
the segment’s endpoints.
10. Prove theorems about triangles. Theorems include: measures of interior angles of a triangle sum to 180° ; base angles of an isosceles triangle are
congruent; the segment joining midpoints of two sides of a triangle is parallel to the third side of a triangle and half its length; the medians of a triangle
meet at a point.
Student Objective (s):
 M/T: By the end of the period I will have completed all of the practice problems from each collaborative group from trashketball.
 W: By the end of the period I will have demonstrated mastery of standard G.CO.9.
 Th/F: By the end of the direct station I will have proved the interior angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees. DOK 3
By the end of independent station I will have chosen a set of problems to complete based off my self-reflection on standard G.CO.9 and gotten 5 in a row
correct on the practice set. DOK 2/3
By the end of collaborative station I will have graded a partner’s Quiz 3 and worked with my group to make corrections to my own quiz. DOK 1/2
Assessment and Student Reflection:
-
Classwork- M/T: Work with your collaborative group to complete trashketball.
-
W: Practice on ixl.com
-
Th/F: BLAST
-
Homework- M/T: Quiz 3 Study Guide
-
W: Go to Student-Led conferences
-
Th/F: Complete the congruent triangle practice on ixl- Coordinate Practice with SSS
WHOLE GROUP
M/T: Play Trashketball
W: Complete Quiz 3
Th/F: BLAST
DIRECT STATION
M/T: Start on quiz 3 study guide
COLLABORATIVE STATION
M/T: Complete trashketball with your
collaborative groups.
W: Notebook Check 4
INDEPENDENT STATION
M/T: Create Quiz 3 Study Guide
W: Complete Quiz 3
W: N/A
Th/F: Work with Mr. Ammentorp to prove the
interior angles of all triangles add up to 180
degrees.
Th/F: 1. Switch your quiz with a partner in
your collaborative group.
2. Grade your partner’s quiz.
3. Return the quiz to your partner and review
the corrections you received.
4. Calculate your grade using the grading scale
in your journal section.
5. Work with your group to make corrections to
your quiz using the two sentence starters:
- I got question ______ wrong because…
-The correct answer is ________ because…
Th/F: Based on your success on Quiz 3 decide
with problem sets you will try to master by
getting 5 in a row (mild being easiest, spicy
being hardest)
Mild- Get 5 in a row correct on:
Find Missing Angles of Triangles
Medium- Get 5 in a row correct on:
Finding Angle Measures 1
Spicy- Get 5 in a row correct on :
Finding Angle Measures 2

Reminders:
Quiz 3 is this week! We will be testing on the theorems we proved last week. Come ready to practice on Monday and Tuesday!
Also, we have a notebook check on Wednesday so make sure you are responsible and bringing your materials everyday. Student-Led
conferences are on Thursday. I’m expecting 100% attendance! The class with the most attendees will receive a prize. Complete the Googleform:
