 Bernie McNamara Executive Director Real Assets Portfolio Construction J.P. Morgan Asset Management Bernie McNamara, Executive Director, is the head of the Global Real Assets Omni program at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. GRA Omni is a comprehensive asset allocation program for working with investors and their consultants to design custom portfolios across real estate and other real asset categories on a global basis. Bernie leads the group’s efforts to integrate top‐down research, local market fundamental analysis, relative value considerations, and specialized portfolio modeling to implement allocations that are tailored to investor objectives and preferences. Leveraging the Global Real Assets group’s more than $75 billion invested in real asset categories, Bernie and team allocate among private and public real estate in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, as well as other real asset categories such as global infrastructure and global shipping. Bernie also serves on the Global Investment Management Advisory Council at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Previously, he was co‐founder of Upromise Investments, Inc., the largest provider of college investing plans in the industry. Prior to Upromise Investments, Bernie helped develop investment business lines at Fidelity Investments and Merrill Lynch. He began his career in financial market research at Greenwich Associates. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, and has a B.A. from Harvard University and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
