Sienna took action to share her knowledge of
volcanoes and to teach her classmates
about this topic. She organised for her
father to come to class and teach about the
different types of volcanoes and how they
work. Sienna confidently and knowledgeable
carried out a demonstration of a volcanic
eruption. She also baked a cake by herself to
share with her friends. I was impressed with
Sienna’s confidence and her ability to
coordinate between home and school in order
to organise this event.

MyBlog:Volcanoes
It is fun to learn new things. I wanted to show my friends at

A construc<ve plate boundary occurs when plates move apart.
Volcanoes are formed as magma wells up to fill the gap, and
eventually new crust is formed. An example of a construc<ve
plateboundaryisthemid-Atlan<cRidge.
