Our client is one of the worldwide leaders in the branch of machine tools. The company offers highquality and individual technical solutions for the optimization of production processes. The worldwide
operating enterprise has more than 7.000 employees in more than 140 sales and service centres. In
order to further enroll the Korea business, the company is currently looking for a dedicated
Technical Sales Director (m/w)
Located in the Seoul area
Main tasks:

Sales and Marketing responsibilities for all Korea-operations

Technical contact person for all customers on executive level

Support, monitoring and training of local sales organizations in Korea

Ensure further growth in the Korean market incl. responsibility for goals and figures

Maintenance and expansion of the customer base

Analysis of customer requirements and derivation of measures to ensure customer satisfaction

measures

Market and competitor analysis as well as identification of market opportunities and chances

Varied tasks in a global corporate network with a scope for decision-making

Close collaboration with colleagues and the global headquarter as well as extensive support
What we expect:

Academic degree in mechanical / electrical / mechatronics or manufacturing engineering or
equivalent professional qualification

Several years’ work experience in the machine tool industry (e.g. technical department) with
relevant sales experience (B2B) in a global active enterprise

First profound leadership experience

Technical knowledge of CNC Machinery; experience in the area of control-systems is a plus

Korean at native-speaker level, fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Self-confident, reliable and a very high level of intercultural management skills

Excellent communication- and organizational skills
