Introductory differential and integral calculus is
used throughout the year.
AP PHYSICS C

The course is analogous to two semesters of
college level calculus based introductory Physics
and prepares the students for the AP exam in
May.
Students must take both the Mechanics and the
Electricity and Magnetism exams.

GRADING

Marking period grades are based on:

Students perform guided as well as open-ended handson laboratory investigations including using
electronic/computerized sensors.
The electronic sensors create the graphs in real-time on
the computer screen.
Students also use Excel and Graphical Analysis to
create and analyze graphs.
