STANDARD HEAT TRANSFER VINYL - CUT ONLY
Description:
Standard Heat Transfer Vinyl is a polyurethane or PVC-based film that has been laminated to a carrier sheet. It is
designed to be cut by a vinyl cutter in mirror image. After cutting, the excess material is weeded or pulled away
leaving only the cut design on the carrier sheet. The sheet is then placed on the substrate to be applied for a
specific amount of time at a particular temperature with a recommended amount of even pressure. Substrates can
range from 100% cotton to 100% polyester or any blend of the two. Some Standard Heat Transfer Vinyls can also
be applied to Nylon substrates.

Description:
Thick, Tough Heat Transfer Vinyl is more difficult to cut than Standard Heat Transfer Vinyl because it
requires more downforce and causes more wear on the motor of your vinyl cutter. There are different
types of thick, tough heat transfer vinyl. Some are designed to block dye-migration on heat sensitive
fabrics and some produce special effect finishes like glitters and flocks. Vinyl cutters with a digital
servo control and plenty of downforce are recommended for Thick, Tough Heat Transfer Vinyl.

SANDBLAST MATERIAL
Description:
This polyvinylchloride (PVC) material repels sandblasting grit like rubber, but is less expensive and cuts more
easily. Also, it won’t distort or close in on itself once it’s cut. Sandblast Material can also be used to create
templates for rhinestone application. Vinyl Cutters with exceptional downforce, tangential emulation and overcut
features are recommended for Sandblast Material.

The HARTCO line of SandMask resist (Sandblast Stencil) materials are designed to be
versatile. They are a general purpose resist used on a wide variety of substrates making it an

Description:
Rhinestone Template Flock Material is a thick, textured material with a sticky backing designed
to create rhinestone templates. It shares the characteristics of thick, tough heat transfer

Reflective Sign and Heat Transfer Vinyl is designed to provide visibility in low light conditions. Reflective vinyls are typically thicker and less
