Vinyl Wall covering
Vinyl wall covering is widely recognized for its durability and aesthetic value -- which accounts for its popularity in
hospitality, retail, health care and office settings.
One major feature of vinyl wall covering is that it doesn't require a great deal of maintenance. Inexpensive, allpurpose cleansers, mild soaps or household bleach will work on most normal stains and soils. Isopropyl alcohol
usually removes stains and marks made by ball-point ink, chewing gum, pencil and crayon. Difficult stains, such as
blood, urine or bacteria may be removed with a solution of isopropyl alcohol or bleach applied immediately to the
soiled area to clean and sanitize the stained area.
Textured wall covering may be scrubbed with a soft-bristled brush, then rinsed with clean water and dried with a
clean, dry cloth.
Be sure to clean a small inconspicuous area of the wall covering to test the cleaner before cleaning the entire area.
Vinyl wall coverings are generally stable. They're made of materials that resist fading from sunlight or repeated
washing.
Stain resistant coatings can improve the wall covering's ability to resist stains, even if the stain is left on the wall
covering for an extended period.
