want to see what you know. It is graded.
VOCABULARY-MALE SYSTEM
• TESTES: Reproductive organs that make sperm and testosterone.
• PENIS: The reproductive organ that removes urine from the body and that
can deliver sperm to the female reproductive system.
• URETHRA: A tube that starts at the bladder and ends at the opening of the
penis that provides a passage for urine and semen to leave the body.
• Epididymis: A tightly coiled tube where sperm mature and are stored.
• Seminal Vesicles: Found near the base of the urinary bladder. Produces thick
secretions that nourish the sperm and help sperm move.
• Prostate Gland: Found near the bladder. Secretes a thin, milky fluid that
protects sperm from acid in the female reproductive system.
• Cowper’s gland: Found near the urethra below the prostate. Secretes a clear
fluid that protects sperm from acid in the male urethra.

progestrone.
• VAGINA: Female reproductive organ that connects the outside of the body to the
uterus and receives sperm during reproduction.
• FALOPIAN TUBES: Reproductive organs that transport an egg from the ovary to the

• CERVIX: The neck of the uterus, produces fluid to help sperm travel and keeps
germs out during infection.
