Genetic engineering in food can be used to produce totally new substances such as proteins and other nutrients. The genetic modification foods can be used to increase their medical value, thus making available homegrown editable vaccines. It would help predict diseases. It would help develop therapies and drugs to treat debasing diseases like cancer. It would help farmers save more money, they would not need to buy pesticides for plants. Higher crops yields.
