The Work Programme does not include reference to the agenda item concerning electronic commerce, as it was agreed at the 53 rd Session that the Committee would revert to this item in the future only if requested to do so by Members. It does not include issues which the CTD in Special and Dedicated Session, as well as the Sub-Committee on Least-Developed Countries have been mandated to deal with. 2 Members requested, at the 40th Session of the CTD, that this be a standing item on the Committee's agenda. Paragraph 51 of the Doha Ministerial Declaration states: "The Committee on Trade and Development and the Committee on Trade and Environment shall, within their respective mandates, each act as a forum to identify and debate developmental and environmental aspects of the negotiations, in order to help achieve the objective of having sustainable development appropriately reflected". . /.
