Your Task
In a small group (two or three at the most), you are to choose one of the following

Once you have selected your figure, you are then to apply the journalistic principle
to him or her and form a presentation
1. Who – Their position and title.
2. What – what they did their major influence European and world history,
how they left their mark.
3. When – self-explanatory the period and thematic unit when they did what
they did, i.e. Louis XIV reigned during the time of absolute rule in the 17 th
century.
4. Where – The geographic location of this person.
5. Why – Their motives and reasons for such an action. For example Oliver
Cromwell formed and lead the new model army as he was certain it was the
only way to defeat the Royalists
Your presentation can be in any format, board, power point, video skit, play but
must last between 5-10 minutes in length. The scoring rubric is below:-
