My nutritional ‘mission’ is to give you food which tastes good and does
you good, simple as that.
By doing this I hope I will encourage you to think more about what you
eat, notice how it affects you, and perhaps inspire you to want to know
more.
My view is that, when we feed ourselves well, with enough protein, good
quality fats and plenty of vegetables, we ‘need’ less sweet foods and
empty foods.
Here are some of the things we do to make sure that our food is as
healthy as possible:
o Vegetables, especially greens, are included in just about everything
we make, helping you to reach your 5-a-day and more.
o Protein features in all the meals because eating enough protein has
so many benefits including blood sugar balancing and weight
control.
o Herbs and spices all add nutritional value.
o The pith and peel of whole (organic) lemons and limes are used as
they contain important and valuable antioxidants.
o Only olive oil, coconut oil, butter and animal fat are used, not
vegetable and sunflower oils which can contribute to inflammation in
the body.
o Meat soups/stews are often made with a home made bone broth,
increasing the nutrient value further.
o Packaging is made from cornstarch, which is biodegradable and
doesn’t leach chemicals into your food.
If you’d like to know more, please ask, visit my website or sign up to one
of my courses.
Thank you for coming to Tina’s Kitchen.
