THE SOLAR SYSTEM
The Sun, eight planets and their moons, an asteroid belt and many comets and meteors
are in our Solar System. The Sun is in the
center.It is a large, bright object in the Solar System. Around the Sun there are
planets,moons,dwarf planets, asteroids, comets, meteoroids, rocks, interplanetary dust
and gas.They orbit the Sun.
Mercury,Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are the eight planets.
There’s a belt of asteroids, too. This belt orbits between Mars and Jupiter. Moons orbits
planets, but the Earth has only one moon and Jupiter has sixty-three. Our Solar System
is a giant mass!
