Earth is the third planet from the sun. Mars is the fourth. Jupiter is the 5th planet from the sun and is the biggest planet in the solar system. Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and is the smallest. This picture is of the things we used for the planets in our solar system. They are to scale. The next picture is me making our solar system with the planets in the picture. I used toilet roll to measure how far all the planets were from each other. We ran out of toilet paper between Uranus and Neptune, so we used steps instead. It was a really long way! Every piece of toilet paper was 10 million miles.
