Multi-stemmed by nature but can be trained with a single trunk. A great native habitat tree. Mature height: 20’ to 25’ Leaves: 2” long, turning brilliant red in autumn. Clean Summer foliage. Bark: Smooth, light gray. Flowers: Spectacular white flowers, edible fruit. Habitat: Hardy zones 4 to 9. Tolerant of a wide range of soils. Easily grown in full sun to part shade. Fun Facts: The small, showy red berries attract birds and are safe for human consumption.
