Native of: Madagascar
Habitat: A widespread epiphyte in Madagascar growing epiphytically
from sea level to 1500m. It always grows in shade and close to water.
Description: A miniature species with 3-6cm leaves and relatively
large 2cm flowers on stems carrying up to eighteen flowers.
Cultivation Guidance: At school we grow this plant mounted and hot
(min180C) in low light. It’s habitat suggests it should be happy cooler
than this.
Flowering season: Variable spring summer and autumn
