Paphiopedilum druryi
Native of: South India but probably extinct in the wild.
Habitat: Terrestrial, growing on rocks in full sun or shaded by grass
and scrub.
Description: A small plant with leaves up to 15cm long with 20cm
flower stems and single flowers 7-8cm across.
Cultivation Guidance: At school we grow this species hot (min.180C)
through out the year in medium light.
Flowering season: Summer
Flask to flowering approx: 4yrs.
Seed source: Commercial nursery
