Students will be able to identify the system that is responsible for processing foods into energy. 1 Digestive System Overview 2 Teeth and Saliva Students will be able to name the three basic tooth types and how each is used in the process of digestion. Students will be able to relate how our salivary glands aid in digestion. 3 Taste Buds and Tongue Students will be able to describe two ways the tongue helps in digestion.
