Grammar Review Scavenger Hunt
The class is going to be divided into groups. Once you are in your groups, use your Holt Handbook, and whatever
you remember from elementary school, to answer the questions about the eight parts of speech. If you are asked to
write a sentence, you cannot use one of the sentences from the Handbook.
Each student must fill out his/her own sheet, and it must be legible. The first group to get all the answers correct
wins. To determine if the answers are correct, I will pick one person’s answers at random, and that person’s packet
will represent all the members of that group, so make sure that everyone in the group is included in all the answers
and you have all agreed on the answers before you tell me you are finished. Good luck!
