Name: _______________________ March Tic-Tac-Toe Spelling Homework Choose three assignments “in a row” to complete each week in March using your weekly spelling lists. Mark your choices on the chart, and return each Friday with all of your completed work attached. At least one homework assignment must be completed in cursive each week, and you must complete a different three “in a row” each week in March. March 26th – Mark your choices with yellow. Word Scramble: Crossword Puzzle: Sentences: Scramble the letters in each word. Write the answer next to each word. Make a crossword puzzle using all of your spelling words. Include clues and answers! Use may want to use www.puzzlemaker.com (select criss-cross) to help you. Write a sentence for each of the spelling words. You may use more than one spelling word in a sentence. Underline the spelling words. T.V. Commercial Hang Spider: Write a T.V. commercial for your favorite toy, restaurant, or food. Use at least 15 of your spelling words in dialogue for your commercial script. Underline each spelling word and remember to use quotation marks! Cursive Rainbow Words: Use colored pencils and Play hang spider using at least 10 spelling words with lined paper. Write a spelling word in cursive someone at home. with your favorite color. Remember to attach the paper you use for the game. Then trace over the word with a second color. Trace over the word one more time with a third color. Do this with each of the spelling words. Three Times: Word Collage: Poem: Write each spelling word 3 times. Cut letters (not entire words) from a magazine or newspaper and glue them on a paper to spell 5-10 words. Use all of your spelling words to write a poem. You may write any type of poem! Be creative!
