Unit 2 Week 5
From the activities listed below, choose 3 to complete. You must use ALL 25
words! This includes the review & challenge words. One activity will be
chosen each day to be completed and turned in the following day.
1. Word Sort -Sort your words using these spelling patterns - air, ear, ere, eer, &
ear.
2. Scrambled words -Write your words, then write them again with the letters
mixed up.
3. Pyramid Words – Write your words adding or subtracting one letter at a
time. The result will be a pyramid shape of words.
4. Words-in-words – Write your word and then write at least 2 words made
from each.
5. Reversed words – Write your words in ABC order -backwards!
6. Create an activity – Can you think of a fun way to do your spelling activities?
