You will examine several ancient civilizations in order to gain a historical perspective of the progress of mankind. As a result of your study you will gain the ability to think critically and historically about the world in which you live. From time to time the student needs to be reminded by the teacher to monitor their behavior. Once prompted by the teacher, the student corrects the behavior. Student behavior is a disruption to their learning. Behavior corrections are frequent. Student often needs the teacher to monitor their behavior several times before correcting the behavior. Student behavior impacts not only that student but has a negative impact on the learning of other students. Expectations for Students Come to class prepared and on time each day. Make every effort to complete all assignments on time. o Late work will not earn full credit! Under no circumstances disrupt another student’s learning opportunity. Respect the students, teachers, and possessions of room 411. Give your best effort.
